Q: Now that Brian Williams is doing both Nightly News and Rock Center, will he still appear on 30 Rock? He makes me laugh every time he does a cameo.

—Paul Hartman, Las Vegas, Nev.

Williams says the answer is yes, if time permits and if an invite comes his way.

Since Rock Center With Brian Williams is the first new network news magazine show to premiere in a while, Williams, 52, says his focus is on "putting together the best broadcast of its type and staying on the air." But he does keep his sense of humor, listing several comedies among his favorite TV shows, including 30 Rock, The Office, Community, Parks & Recreation—and lest you think he is doing an ad for his own NBC network-he also watches Modern Family and Family Guy.

The native of Ridgewood, N.J., adds, "While [30 Rock] doesn't speak to towering credibility in a primetime evening news magazine, those are what I call the extracurriculars that kind of make life more fun."
