Is Eric McCormack ever going to do another comedy? He was so funny on 'Will & Grace'.
—Chester Abrams, Mankato, Minn.

Since the TV series Will & Grace wrapped in 2006, McCormack, 49, starred in the short-lived drama series 'Trust Me,' the TV movie Who Is Clark Rockefeller? and the miniseries 'The Andromeda Strain.' Although he stirred up some new laughs with a recurring role on 'The New Adventures of Old Christine,' he says he’s now ready to bite into some more serious roles, which is why he signed on to play a neuroscientist suffering symptoms of schizophrenia in the TNT series 'Perception.' “I needed to flex muscles that I hadn’t flexed in a long time,” the Toronto-born actor says. “'Trust Me' whetted my appetite for how much I love doing more complex characters.”
