Florida man offers simple DIY solution

Richard Bailey of Tampa, Fla., was tired of his trash bags slipping down as he filled them. To solve the problem, he cut out the middle of the trash can’s lid, leaving only the perimeter. Now when he replaces the trash bag, Bailey slips the ring of the lid around the opening of the can to hold the bag securely.
