Does Jennifer Hudson have another movie coming up? I think she’s so inspirational.

Hudson, 31, appeared earlier this year in “The Three Stooges,” and she has two films currently in the can with no announced release date as yet—”Lullaby” and “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete.”

In addition, she will appear in a multi-episode arc of NBC’s “Smash” when the second season premieres in 2013. The Chicago-born Oscar and Grammy Award winner will portray Veronica Moore, a Tony Award-winning Broadway star who impacts the lives of Karen (Katharine McPhee) and Ivy (Megan Hilty).

“I’m excited about it,” the Arista recording artist says. “I’ll be singing and dancing since I play a Broadway star, so Broadway stars do it all! If I’m doing it all, everybody better get ready!”

Also this year, Hudson became a best-selling author with the release of her memoir, “I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down.”

Hudson has also put her creative efforts into designing a fashion line that premiered on QVC. “I feel like I represent every woman. I’ve been on both sides of the fence. I’ve been a big girl and now an average size. But I wanted [to make] clothes any girl could wear—no matter what size—and feel comfortable in.”

In addition, the mother of 3-year-old son David recorded a lullaby for Pampers, in return for which the company donated $100,000 to Hudson’s Julian D. King Gift Foundation, which Hudson and her sister formed to honor her slain nephew.

“My son is very into music and really familiar with my voice,” she says. “He can hear something and say, ‘That’s my mommy!’”
