I was told there are two Mark Walbergs. One, I know, is host of Antiques Roadshow, but I don’t know of the other. Also, is either related to Donnie Walberg of Blue Bloods?
—Marilyn Huntsman, Central Point, Ore.
There are two, but their surnames are spelled differently. Mark L. Walberg, 49, is the one that you know from Antiques Roadshow. His other TV credits include the game shows Russian Roulette and The Moment of Truth, as well as Temptation Island. The Florence, S.C.-born TV personality is married with two children.
Mark Wahlberg, 40, initially came to fame as rapper Marky Mark and for his Calvin Klein underwear ads. He reinvented himself as an actor, with some of his notable films including Boogie Nights, The Perfect Storm, The Italian Job, The Fighter, The Departed and, most recently, Contraband. But he didn’t quit there and also has an executive producer title on several TV series, including HBO’s Entourage, which was loosely based on his life; Boardwalk Empire; and How To Make It in America. The Boston-born actor is married with four children. He and Donnie Wahlberg, 42, who was a member of New Kids on the Block before becoming an actor, are brothers.
