Now that “Dallas” is filming its second season, I was wondering if there was any chance that Morgan Fairchild would return as Jenna Wade.

Fairchild, 62, says she would definitely return if invited, but no official offer has been made. “I’d always be interested,” she says. “Originally, just socially, a couple of people in charge over there had reached out to me and asked me the same question. But I’ve never heard back from them following up.”

Of course, the part of Bobby Ewing’s first love on “Dallas” may have been created by Fairchild, but the last actress to play the part was Priscilla Presley, so even if Jenna does return, it remains to be seen who would play it.

But Fairchild continues to work. Her most recent TV credits include guest starring roles on “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Chuck,” “Bones,” “Happily Divorced” and the Syfy movie “American Horror House.”

The Dallas, Texas-born actress is best known for playing a bad girl, which began back in 1978 when she landed the role of the evil sorority queen in the TV movie “The Initiation of Sarah.”

“It sort of set me on my road to bitch-dom, I guess,” she says. “ABC Family actually did a remake of it a few years ago, and I played the mother of one of the girls in that one. [My career] just kind of worked out that way. I think partially because of the way I look—I think the pointy nose sort of does it.”
