Prehistoric Pottery Found in Arkansas

A rare form of prehistoric American Indian pottery called head pots is found almost exclusively in northeast Arkansas and the adjacent bootheel region of Missouri. The pottery, made in the general shape of a human head, dates from 1400 to 1700.
