Trisha Yearwood Reflects

Trisha Yearwood's larger-than-life voice has helped to define contemporary country music for more than a decade. Her first album in four years, Jasper County, debuted at No. 1 on the country sales charts last fall and has been heralded as a masterwork. The Grammy-nominated CD has just been re-released with a very special addition: a duet with her husband, superstar Garth Brooks, on a song perfectly suited for the recently wed superstars, "Love Will Always Win." Jasper County, Yearwood's 11th album, is a collection that comes from a period of re-evaluation, introspection and self-reflection for the Georgia-born singer. "I've never taken this long to make a record," she notes. "Everything is in the best perspective of my life, both professionally and personally. I feel wiser. I am just very, very happy."
