Australia-born Montgomery, 36, got her start in small TV roles and worked her way up to the parts of Marilyn Monroe in the 2001 CBS miniseries Blonde (2001) and FBI agent Samantha Spade on Without a Trace. Earlier this year she starred as J.K. Rowling in Magic Beyond Words, a TV movie about the Harry Potter author.
