I would like to know what happened to the CBS show “Unforgettable.”
Warren Scheunemann, Jackson, Wis.
Initially, when CBS announced the fall schedule last May, “Unforgettable” had been canceled after just one season. Since then, it has been given a reprieve, with the network opting to bring it back during the summer of 2013.
“It was a really tough decision,” Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment, said. “We had a very strong schedule. We had very strong pilots going in. And we had very strong research on the show. So we did not want to let it go. We saw this as a window of opportunity to put the show on and we jumped at it. I can’t predict what our expectations for it will be in the summer [but] I think it will fare well.”
When “Unforgettable” starts filming new episodes next March, it will have a different look. Poppy Montgomery (Carrie Wells), Dylan Walsh (Al Burns) and Jane Curtin (Joanne Webster) will be returning cast members, but Michael Gaston (Mike Costello), Kevin Rankin (Roe Saunders) and Daya Vaidya (Nina Inara) will not be back, so we will have to wait and see what the show looks like in its new incarnation.
