Hugh Laurie, James McAvoy and Jim Broadbent among voice actors
Our family loved the movie “Arthur Christmas.” Who did the voices of Arthur, his brother and his father, Santa Claus?
—Helen Pruitt, Durango, Colo.
Arthur, Santa’s youngest son who races to save a young girl’s Christmas in the 2011 animated flick, now on Blu-ray, was voiced by Scottish actor James McAvoy, 33. His older brother, Steve, was voiced by Hugh Laurie, famed for his title role in the TV series “House,” and Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn in the “Harry Potter” movies) provided the voice for Malcolm “Santa” Claus.
