Celtic Woman

I would appreciate any information you can give me about Lisa Kelly of Celtic Woman fame.
—Emma Oliver, Piggott, Ark.

The soprano, who eased out of the all-female Irish singing ensemble in 2011 for maternity leave and more recently announced she was stepping down permanently, relocated from Dublin, Ireland, and settled with husband Scott Porter (former CEO of Celtic Woman) and their four children in Peachtree City, Ga., where she opened the Lisa Kelly Voice Academy. ”It’s nice to have the kids in a more structured environment and be in a house,” she says. Kelly, 36, says she misses her Celtic Woman singing partners but is excited about the school, which offers classes for all ages.

  • Lisa Kelly is/was my favorite Celtic woman. I am pleased for her that she is settled and happy. I wish her well.

  • MY WIFE AND I saw Lisa singing with Celtic Woman live, at least three different times. She had a fabulous voice and was always a classy lady. She’ll always be my favorite “Celtic Woman”. We wish her well in her endeavors in Atlanta.
