The native of Prairie View, Ill., moved to Los Angeles when he was 18 and worked as a chef before landing his first professional job in 1990 as Jake Harrison on One Life To Live, which led to his six seasons on Dr. Quinn. In 2000, he was the star and executive producer of the TV series Higher Ground. He appeared in the 150th episode of NCIS in January and stars in the film Meteor Apocalypse, which was just released on DVD. Lando, 48, and his wife, Kirsten Barlow, have three sons and a daughter.
