What can you tell us about actress Alicia Coppola? Any relation to Francis Ford Coppola? I have seen her on TV. Has she acted on the big screen?

Coppola, 44, is no relationship to director Francis Ford Coppola, although she does have two other relatives in show business. Her brother Matthew Coppola and her cousin Denise Di Novi are both producers.
The Huntington, N.Y.-born actress launched her acting career with a three-year contract in 1991 on the now canceled NBC soap “Another World,” but prior to that she worked as a hostess on MTV’s “Remote Control.”
A graduate of New York University, Coppola is currently starring as Jonelle, the medical examiner on “Common Law.” Her other well-known series roles include “The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” “Jericho,” “American Dreams,” “Trinity” and “Bull.” Her guest star credits include “Revenge,” “Suits,” “Detroit 1-8-7,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “NCIS,” “JAG,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Bones,” “Castle,” “Lie to Me,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “CSI: NY,” “Medium,” “Two and a Half Men” and “Las Vegas,” among others.
While the majority of her career has been on television, her best-known film credit to date is “National Treasure: Book of Secrets.”
Coppola is married to actor Anthony Michael Jones. They have three daughters.
