Our family loves Amber Marshall, who plays the girl who can “talk” to horses on Heartland. Please tell us about her.

Marshall, 23, a native of London, Ontario, Canada, feels like she was born to play the part of Amy Fleming in the GMC family drama set on a horse ranch in the Canadian Rockies. “I have been riding many years, so this was the perfect job,” says the former veterinary assistant. “I filled the shoes quite well.” Marshall began acting at age 8 and played the title character in the 2003 TV movie The Elizabeth Smart Story. She also had roles in the TV series Doc and Monk and the TV movie The Christmas Shoes.
