Where are some of Bizarre Foods host Andrew Zimmern’s favorite places on the planet to dine?
—Tonya Morgan, Denver, Colo.
Zimmern, 49, who grew up in New York City, loves Hong Kong and Chengdu for great Chinese food, Syria for its Middle Eastern cuisine, Venice for seafood, San Francisco for its “inventive and radicalized food spirit,” and Lapland in northern Finland for its Scandinavian recipes. But “New York City is the greatest food town on Earth,” he says. His motto remains, “If it looks good, eat it!”
