What's happened to the character Julia on As the World Turns? Also, can you tell me about the beautiful actress who plays her?

Annie Parisse, the actress who brought Julia to life, chose not to renew her contract with As the World Turns last year, though she continued to appear on a recurring basis. She also had a semi-regular role on the short-lived CBS series The Big Apple. Parisse, 25, was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and became interested in acting at 12, when she got involved with a youth theater group. She continued to act in high school, went on to graduate from Fordham College in Manhattan and trained at the Holborne Center for the Performing Arts in London. Now living in New York City, she often appears in plays, garnering glowing reviews for her work. Single, but dating someone special, she says her professional goal is to keep working as an actress. "I was never like, 'I have to make a lot of money. I have to be a big superstar.' I really genuinely love acting, and I really want to be able to do that for the rest of my life."
