How many novels has James Patterson written and how many have been translated into movies?
Sandy Sawyer, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Patterson, 63, has 66 books with his name on the cover. But the number continues to rise. His next, The 9th Judgment, hits bookstores April 26. The author, who lives in Palm Beach, Fla., has sold an estimated 170 million books and has seen two of them translated into films, Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. Four of his books were turned into TV movies, and his Women’s Murder Club became a TV series. It’s a safe bet that his work will attract more of Hollywood’s attention.
