Visitors can now view the unnamed 2-month-old okapi, a tall, velvet-furred relative of the giraffe that lives solely in northeast Africa. Okapis are on the endangered species list, with only about 10,000 left worldwide. Zoo officials have been trying to breed their own for about 20 years.
