Is it true that Brian Wilson will rejoin the Beach Boys next year?

Approaching the 50th anniversary of its first single, “Surfin,” in 2011, the legendary band continues to tour and perform. “At this time there are no plans for my cousin Brian to rejoin the tour,” says the Beach Boys’ only remaining original member, Mike Love. “He has new solo projects on the horizon, and I wish him love and success. We have had some discussions of writing and possibly recording together, but there are no current ‘reunion tour’ plans.
