Years ago on the show Star Search there was a singer named Beth Hart. She was wonderful. What became of her and her career? Also, what other stars got their break from the show?

Beth Hart has released two albums: Immortal (with her band) in the mid-90s and Screamin' For My Supper in 1999. Hart grew up in Los Angeles and began playing piano at age 4, learning to play classical music by Beethoven and Bach. She entered the Los Angeles High School of Performing Arts in the 10th grade as a vocal and cello major. On the advice of a friend, she sang during open mike nights at a local comedy club, and it didn't take long before she was performing regularly at clubs across Los Angeles. Hart appeared on Star Search in 1993, and the national exposure brought her thousands of devoted fans who wanted to hear more. She and her band signed with 143 Records/Atlantic and went on a nine-month tour of the world. Often compared to Janis Joplin, she played the late singer in early tryouts of the Broadway-bound play Love, Janis. Others who have started their careers on Star Search include the country group Sawyer Brown, comedian Sinbad, and singer Sam Harris.
