The tyke, who hosted “Bindi: The Jungle Girl” when she was just 8, is now a teenager and following in her dad Steve Irwin’s TV footsteps as the host of “Bindi’s Bootcamp,” a wildlife-based game show for Starz. The Queensland, Australia-born Irwin, 14, says, “I want to carry on my dad’s legacy and make sure that his message never dies.” Toward that goal, she is working to keep the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve from being strip-mined. Additionally, she recently starred in the environmentally themed movie “Return to Nim’s Island” on the Hallmark Channel.
