I loved Gwyneth Paltrow's performance in Duets. I heard her mother also is in show business. Who is she?

Paltrow's mother is actress Blythe Danner. You might have seen her on television, in movies, or on Broadway. Danner, 59, played Robert Duvall's wife in The Great Santini, Nick Nolte's wife in The Prince of Tides, and Ben Stiller's future mother-in-law in Meet The Parents. She's starred in two television series—Adam's Rib, with Ken Howard, and Tattinger's—and has made numerous television appearances, most recently as Will's mother in the television series Will & Grace. Born in Philadelphia and a graduate of Bard College, the elegant actress made a name for herself on Broadway early in her career, winning a Tony Award for her performance in Butterflies Are Free in 1970. She's married to Bruce Paltrow, a writer, producer, and director. In fact, Paltrow directed his daughter in Duets. The couple also has a son, Jake, who is a director.
