Whatever happened to Bobby Vee, who recorded "Rubber Ball" and other hits in the 1960s?

Born Robert Velline in Fargo, N.D., Vee began his career at age 15 when he and his schoolboy group filled in for Buddy Holly after the singer died in a 1959 plane crash. Nowadays he performs about 60 concerts a year, singing "Rubber Ball," "Take Good Care of My Baby," "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes," "Devil or Angel" and other hits from his heyday. "It's a joy to play for the fans," says Vee, 67, who lives in Minnesota with his wife of 47 years.
