I think Brian Dennehy is a fantastic actor and would like to know more about him. He had a brief part in Cocoon: The Return, but I didn't see his name listed in the credits. Why?

Dennehy attended Columbia University on a football scholarship and graduated with a bachelor's degree in history. This versatile movie, stage, and television actor has been a strong presence on the American show business scene since the 1970s. He has appeared in dozens of films, including Presumed Innocent, F/X, and Cocoon. His uncredited appearance in Cocoon: The Return is probably because of the small nature of the role, according to his reps. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Dennehy, 63, has won numerous acting awards, including a Tony in 1999 for his wrenching portrayal of Willy Loman in Death of a Salesman. Last spring, he starred in NBC's The Fighting Fitzgeralds.
