The sumptuous 1967 movie musical about King Arthur, Queen Guinevere and the Knights of the Round Table gets a grand 45th anniversary shine with this newly remastered Blu-ray release, which comes packaged as a collectible book with 36 pages of photos and trivia. “Camelot” had already been Broadway smash in 1960, but Richard Harris, Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero took the Hollywood version to the ban and held their own with the production’s memorable soundtrack numbers, including “If Ever I Would Leave You” and “What Do The Simple Folk Do?” Extras include featurettes, commentary, and the movie’s original theatrical trailer, which promised “a picture once seen, never to be forgotten.”
