With so many superheroes of the past coming back to movies (Hulk, Thor and now Captain America), is there a chance for Captain Marvel?

Actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is hoping so, but his coy answer is "Maybe, maybe not." He'd like to play the villain Black Adam and reports a new movie based on the cartoon do-gooder is currently in the planning stages. Captain Marvel was played by Tom Tyler in a 1941 Republic Pictures serial, while Jackson Bostwick portrayed him in the mid-1970s TV series Shazam! Bostwick, 68, is working toward the release of his book, Myth, Magic and a Mortal, about making the TV series.
