I enjoyed the HBO series Carnivale. It went off the air after only one season and now they have reruns. Will there be a new season?

There's good news and bad news for Carnivale fans. The show, a Great Depression-era supernatural drama that follows a traveling carnival across the Dust Bowl, returned to HBO in January for a second season. Unfortunately, the Emmy-winning show was cancelled in May because of low ratings. "We have decided not to renew Carnivale," says HBO Entertainment President Carolyn Strauss. "We feel the two seasons we had on the air told the story very well and we're proud of what everyone associated with the show has accomplished." The first-season DVDs can be purchased at www.hbo.com or www.amazon.com.
