Susan Lucci, 66, wrapped up her recurring roles on “Hot in Cleveland” and “Army Wives” before beginning work on her new Lifetime Television drama, “Devious Maids,” as the wealthy but borderline crazy employer of one of the house servants. It is the second weeknight dramatic series for the Scarsdale, N.Y.-born actress, who in 1990 had a role on the granddaddy of them all, “Dallas.” Her connection to “soaps” goes back to childhood. “I grew up watching soaps with my mother and her best friend,” she says.
