Although Everett, now 71, appeared as a recurring character in several television shows in the 1960s—including Hawaiian Eye, 77 Sunset Strip and Surfside 6—he is best known for his role as dashing Dr. Joe Gannon on the '70s prime-time drama Medical Center. These days he hosts Master's Theater, a religious series on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
