Now that Chris Harrison is getting a divorce, any chance he could become “The Bachelor”?

Not in the near future, according to Harrison, 40, who says he is sticking to his job as host of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette,' rather than looking for love.

“Getting out of a 22-year relationship and having announced my divorce to the world in May, having two kids and trying to start a new life, I’m thinking I wouldn’t exactly be a great candidate to be the bachelor right now…or probably any time soon,” says the Dallas, Texas-born TV host.

Even so, Harrison says that his 18-year marriage to an incredible woman left him with no regrets and that he hopes to fall in love again. “Maybe more than ever, I believe in the search and what everybody’s doing on this show,” adds the father of two sons. “I think the overall thing about this show is very simple. The one thing around the world, no matter what country we go to, everybody wants love; everybody wants companionship, and that’s what makes this show so simple but so genius.”
