Nonstick cooking spray
3/4 cup ground almonds
1 1/4 cups ground oats (grind in blender)
1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
1/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup canola oil

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Combine ground almonds, ground oats, flour, cocoa, chocolate chips and salt. Add maple syrup and oil and mix until well combined.
3. Scoop out heaping teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake 15 to 20 minutes; cookies should be just set. Makes 2 dozen.
