David Foster has produced and written songs for so many incredible artists like Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Michael Bublé and even little Jackie Evancho from America’s Got Talent. Is there someone he still dreams of working with?
—Howard Benjamin, Cincinnati, Ohio

Foster, 61, a native of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, says Stevie Wonder has always been on his list, as has Sting, with whom he is friends. But Sting, 59, has never requested to work with him, so he thinks it probably won’t happen.

As for Wonder, 61, a few months back the two had a phone conversation in which the multi-Grammy Award winner explained his idea: “I want to get the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and I want to take Stevie’s 12 greatest songs and just do them the way they were intended to be done, like he did in All in Love Is Fair, with the London Orchestra, very unplugged.”

So the jury is still out on a Foster-Wonder collaboration.
