Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, 41, who got his start on TV as a professional wrestler with the WWF (now the WWE), isn’t abandoning his thriving film career, by any means. He agreed to mentor the nine ordinary people who will tackle missions that test their brains, brawn and moral fiber on TNT’s “The Hero” “to have fun, make a big impact and showcase people doing some pretty extraordinary things to find the hero within,” says the Hayward, Calif.-born star of the current hit movie “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”
