What is Efrem Zimbalist Jr., who starred in 77 Sunset Strip and The F.B.I., up to these days?
—Marilyn Jolly, Kansas City, Mo.

The father of three and grandfather of four, 92, lives in Santa Barbara, Calif., where he works out daily in his home gym. He is delighted that the first 16 episodes of The F.B.I. were released recently on DVD. He played agent Lewis Erskine in 240 episodes of the acclaimed 1965-1974 series and says that practically all the episodes were based on actual FBI investigations; early episodes even included real-life case numbers in the opening credits. In 2009, the bureau named Zimbalist an honorary agent and presented him a badge.
