I became a fan of Francia Raisa watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager on TV, so I watched her Cutting Edge films. I am curious. Did she do her own skating?

Raisa, 23, who starred in two films in the skating franchise‚ The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice learned to figure skate when she was around 11. She competed for about a year, and then "it wasn't fun anymore," she says. "I got bored." But a bit of re-training for the movies got her back on the blades in no time. "As soon as my feet hit the ice, it was like muscle memory. I didn't do pair skating, though, so my double did a lot of that. But when it came to the easy stuff, that's really me."
