Vanessa Marano, 18, was born in Los Angeles and began her acting career on stage and in TV commercials. Her resume also includes recurring television roles in Dexter, Without A Trace and The Young and the Restless. In the new ABC Family dramatic series Switched at Birth, which debuts June 6 at 9 p.m. ET, she stars as one of two teenage girls who discover they’ve each been raised by the “wrong” family after a mistake at the hospital.
