Q: Is Gloria Gaynor of "I Will Survive" fame still doing concerts?
—Betty Katzenmiller, Denver, Colo.
Born Gloria Fowles in Newark, N.J., Gaynor, 62, continues to perform. "I Will Survive" was a two-million-selling worldwide hit in 1978-79. "It feels great to have such a song like that, because I get kids 5 and 6 years old telling me they like the song, and then people who are 75 and 80. It's quite an honor," says Gaynor, who is recording a contemporary Christian album and some new dance singles.
