Can you please tell me who sings the remake of the song Heaven? Bryan Adams sang the first version.

—Angela K., Indiana

Actually, two versions of Heaven are on DJ Sammy’s album of the same name. One is the chart-topping dance mix, which features Sammy and singer Do (Dominique Rijpma van Hulst) as the female vocalist. The other is a “candlelight mix” of Heaven featuring Do’s vocals accompanied by a soft piano. Do, a native of the Netherlands, is now on tour, performing Heaven and songs from her forthcoming album, due out early next year. DJ Sammy, or Sammy Bouriah, grew up on the Spanish island of Majorca. In 2002, his dance-mix version of the well-known Bryan Adams’ song perched in the No. 2 position on the Billboard sales chart. “The success of Heaven proves that there’s a huge popular interest in techno/trance music. It’s a crossover track that works in clubs and radio, and I hope it has made people curious, because I have a lot more great songs and ideas in the pipeline,” says Sammy, one of Europe’s leading disc jockeys.
