What is country music singer Jeannie Kendall doing these days? She and her father, Royce, had a hit in the 1970s with “Heaven’s Just a Sin Away.”

St. Louis native Kendall, 55, and husband Mack live in Arkansas not far from Branson, Mo., and perform occasionally. Her father died in 1998 at age 63, but his voice can be heard on the song “Make a Dance of Everything You Do” on Jeannie’s recent CD, All the Girls I Am. When she’s not singing, she’s sewing. “I used to sew my stage outfits, but now I’ve been into pillows,” she says. “I’m not Martha Stewart, but it’s fun to sew things for people.
