Why did Jimmy Fallon decide to host a late-night talk show, rather than following in the footsteps of so many other former Saturday Night Live stars by making movies?
Stephen Higgins, Oneonta, N.Y.

When Fallon, 34, left SNL, executive producer Lorne Michaels shared that NBC would be searching for a late-night replacement for Conan O’Brien, who was taking over Jay Leno’s spot. Fallon was interested because he enjoys being in front of a live audience, which doesn’t happen when you make movies.
