Is the actress on 2 Broke Girls the same one who was in the movie Thor?

Yes. Kat Dennings, 25, who stars as Max Black on the new CBS weeknight comedy, played Darcy Lewis in Thor. She also appeared in the movies Daydream Nation, Defendor, The Answer Man, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and The House Bunny before signing on for TV's 2 Broke Girls.
"I was getting really exciting things," she says. "Thor was just coming out, and I was doing really interesting projects. But it got to a point where I had done so many 'small' films, I'd worked really, really hard, and they would just disappear… I was feeling, 'I want to do something where people will definitely see it.'"
The Philadelphia, Pa., native hasn't put aside thoughts of making more movies. "One of the things that happened when I signed for the show is I made sure I could still do films. If Thor 2 happens, they will find a way to work it out."
