What can you tell us about Kate Finneran, who stars in the sitcom I Hate My Teenage Daughter?
—Anita Gregory, Chesapeake, Va.
Finneran, 41, who won Tony Awards in 2002 for Noises Off and in 2010 for Promises, Promises, got her start on Broadway in 1991 as an understudy in On Borrowed Time with George C. Scott. Previously a star of the TV series Wonderfalls and The Inside, she and husband-actor Darren Goldstein have a year-old son. "What is so great about this job is that I get to be with my son. It's not all-consuming, 17-hour shoot days," she says of her current role as Nikki Miller. "It's a very lovely schedule and so family friendly. I feel so lucky."
