Did Kathryn Erbe, who played Detective Alexandra Eames, take any souvenirs from the set of Law & Order: Criminal Intent when it finished production?
—Wayne Wylie, La Crosse, Wis.

Erbe, 45, says that when the series wrapped in 2010, she wasn't sure if it (or the cast) would be returning, so she made sure to grab the most important thing: a picture of her dog Frieda. She also retrieved notebooks left by a former employee of the New York Post, as the series was filmed in the old Post building. "There were these three notebooks from maybe the '50s and '60s that were one man's diary," she says. "He kept a record of every expenditure he made. And they were written in impeccable script. I just found them fascinating. I would have kept my badge, too, if I could, but that would be illegal."
