He’s in the midst of his eighth season on Showtime’s Weeds as Doug Wilson, a perpetually stoned accountant and business advisor. The St. Louis native, 58, who grew up in Bridgeport, Conn., appeared this year in episodes of Hot in Cleveland and Franklin & Bash and was the voice of the title character in Nick at Nite’s Glenn Martin, DDS from 2009 to 2011. Nealon also continues to do stand-up comedy. “It’s my passion, my forte,” he says. “There’s that immediate gratification from the audience.” Watch for his Showtime special, Whelmed. . .But Not Overly, coming soon.
