Can you give me an update on the Lennon Sisters, who used to be on “The Lawrence Welk Show?”

Of the original quartet, Peggy, 72, and Dianne, 73, retired in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Kathy, 69, and Janet, 67, continue to perform along with younger sister Mimi, 57, as a trio, and will entertain Nov. 1 through Dec. 7 with The Osmonds at the Andy Williams Theatre in Branson, Mo. “It’s amazing that we are in our 57th year of performing, and we have the most loyal fans,” says Kathy, who began her career at age 11. The group’s hits include “Tonight You Belong to Me” in 1956 and “Sad Movies (Make Me Cry)” in 1961.
