Lucas Man Became Baseball Pitcher and Broadcaster

A pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1930s, Jay Hanna ““Dizzy”” Dean later became a radio and television baseball broadcaster. The National Baseball Hall of Fame member was born in 1910 in Lucas (pop. 657).
