I love Elisabeth Moss as Peggy on “Mad Men.” What else is she doing?
—Tony Madrid, Lancaster, Pa.

Moss, 30, is currently starring in “Top of the Lake” on the Sundance Channel in a role that is 180 degrees from the part she plays on “Mad Men.” “It was so awesome to be able to put on jeans and a T-shirt and go to work and not have to wear pantyhose,” she says. Playing a detective in remote, mountainous New Zealand, she learned to shoot, play darts, fish and chop wood. But after six months filming episodes on location in the Southern Hemisphere, she was glad to get back to “Mad Men” in Los Angeles. “It was like I went backpacking…and then came home to my family.”
