The actor and singer will record a CD of Stephen Sondheim songs later this year. You also can look for him in a made-for-television movie with the working title Everything That Rises, which is about Department of Transportation investigations into plane crashes. In September, Patinkin kicked off a national tour to promote his new CD titled Kidults. Born in Chicago, this Julliard-trained entertainer is best known for his Tony-winning stage work in Evita and his Emmy-winning turn as Dr. Jeffrey Geiger on Chicago Hope. He also has appeared in numerous feature films, such as The Princess Bride. Patinkin, 49, is married to actress/writer Kathryn Grody, with whom he has two sons, Isaac and Gideon. He lives in New York City.
