The former Beatle settles into Hollywood’s famed Capitol recording studios for a live documentary that recaptures the magic of his acclaimed 2012 “Kisses on the Bottom” CD, a collection of childhood standards that sparked his musical imagination, with a band of all-stars including jazz pianist Diana Krall, Eric Clapton, Stevie Wonder and Joe Walsh. Songs include “I’m Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter,” “It’s Only a Paper Moon,” “Bye Bye Blackbird” and 10 other performances, including an original he wrote for the project, “My Valentine.” Bonus features include six different versions of the “My Valentine” video with Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman, a behind-the-scenes look at the photo shoot for the “Kisses on the Bottom” album, an interview with McCartney, and a 40-page souvenir booklet.
